Deer & Sheep Safety

While exploring Skye, please be mindful of the resident sheep and deer. These sensitive animals can become alarmed when dogs are nearby, so ensure your dog is well-behaved and kept on a leash when required.

Tick Prevention

Ticks are more prevalent during certain times of the year, particularly in long grass. These parasites can affect both dogs and humans, so take necessary precautions and inspect yourself and your dog for ticks regularly. Long socks are highly recommended when walking through long grass.

You and your canine companion are sure to have an unforgettable time exploring the dog-friendly Isle of Skye.
