Everything about Tigh Lachie was incredible! As a family who has been traveling extensively throughout Europe, this was by far our favorite stay! If I could give it a higher rating, I absolutely would! John was outstanding – he reached out before, during, and after our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We arrived during a heavy snowstorm, but John ensured we were safe to reach the cottage and even offered to adjust our stay to make sure we got the full experience. His communication was truly above and beyond! When we arrived, the cottage was warm and welcoming, with everything we could possibly need already in place. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and it was a lovely touch to find staple foods like eggs, bread, milk, wine, and chocolate waiting for us. This cottage is a true gem, and we can't recommend it highly enough! A 10-star experience all the way!

Tigh Lachie is gorgeous inside and out, with everything you could possibly need during your stay. You are greeted with a warm, clean and cosy home from home and an incredibly thoughtful and generous welcome pack and even your pooch has a gift. We will absolutely be returning ❤️

We stayed at Tigh Lachie for a week at the beginning of June and it was fantastic. The cottage is spotless and has everything you need. We loved the location as well - it was quiet and just a short walk to a little beach shop/cafe. Our dog loved the little goodie bag as well and is obsessed with his new toy! We would really recommend staying here if you are visiting Skye.

Quite simply, WONDERFUL. Beautiful location, Tigh Lachie is a home from home. Well appointed and very tastefully decorated. There are lots of other places to stay but we wouldn’t opt for another cottage. My daughter simply wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else ! We LOVE it.

Beautiful cottage, well furnished, clean, warm, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, lovely shower, quiet, secure fence around the property. Information about the cottage and facilities are made available online and on hard copy and John responds to messages very promptly. There was a welcome pack for us (flowers, sweets, postcard, Prosecco etc) and one for our dogs (treats, toy, poo bag, etc), fridge had eggs, margarine, bread, milk.

My (now) wife and I stayed at An Nead and dined at Coruisk House for our wedding which we had down on Elgol beach in late August. The entire experience from start to finish was absolutely incredible….
We were impressed by the local sourcing of ingredients, high quality of preparation and the nuance of each dish…..
The wine list is extensive and personally researched by the ever-so-kind owners, and you really feel like they are welcoming you as old friends or family into their home.
On the whole, we were extremely pleased with our time at Coruisk house and it will always hold a special place in our hearts

This was our first visit to Skye and we were looking for a remote but comfortable cottage with a garden our fearful GSD could roam in. We had a wonderful time at Tigh Mairi and so did Juno! The cottage is beautiful and on arrival on a wet Friday afternoon we were delighted to go into a lovely warm cottage ( underfloor heating 😊) and a Welcome pack for us and for Juno which was so thoughtful. The cottage was really clean and beautifully presented. We absolutely loved it!!
