The cosy cottages here on our croft in Elgol with their thatched roof and stove in the fireplace offer the perfect romantic setting for your honeymoon and also a great place from which to explore the Isle of Skye and near highland mainland.

Bed and Breakfast

As a development from our self catering accommodation we now also offer a luxury Bed and Breakfast. The B&B is self contained with its own access, 2 en-suite double room and a very large residents lounge. This is an ideal base for a luxury short break, with the excellent Coruisk House restaurant right next door.

During your Skye holiday, within the village of Elgol, there are many opportunities to see wild life, red deer are often down in the evening time at the cottages, eagles and various birds of prey can be spotted frequently. Two weeks later than last year, the cuckoo finally arrived on Sunday. There are also many walks from Elgol, some heading towards the Cuillin mountains and loch Coruisk, others along the coast to Prince Charlie’s cave and to the Spar cave with its stalagmites.
